Competitive Team

Our competitive program is for advanced gymnasts who have a desire to test their skills against other gymnasts around the state and region. The team requires year round participation and a commitment from not only the child but also their parent or guardian. Participation on the team is by invitation only.

We compete levels 4 and up under USA Gymnastics rules and policies. Gymnasts entering the team will begin at level 4 and progress to higher levels based on performance. Team workouts range from 6 to 14 hours a week depending on the level.

Our pre-season starts in May with competitions beginning in December and continuing through April. Each level attends approximately 8 meets per season. Meets could be anywhere in Arkansas, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, or Oklahoma and the gymnast’s family is required to provide their own transportation. Meets are scheduled anytime between Friday morning and Sunday evening.

Monthly fees start at $120 (level 4) and increase with each level (see Tuition page). Other fees include team leotard ($120), warm-up suit($150), gym bag ($30), coaches meet and travel fee ($80), USAG registration fee ($50), meet entry fees ($400-$600), as well as traveling and hotel expenses. Some of our parents have organized a booster club to help raise money for the team.  If you are willing and able to participate in booster club functions most of these fees (with the exception of the regular monthly fee) may be covered.
